One of the movies I'm most looking forward to seeing this month is director David Fincher's Facebook biopic "The Social Network." Yes, it's out in theaters on October 1, but the film will actually premiere on September 24 at the New York Film Festival. Jesse Eisenberg stars as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in what amounts to a pretty wild tale.

It's been awhile since I last had a Miley Cyrus edition of Daily TwitPic for you. The pop star made the (probably wise) decision to sign herself off of the microblogging service for good, thus ending a regular flow of updates from the world of Hannah Montana's real-life counterpart.

What's It Called: "Skyline"

SPOILER WARNING: This blog very specifically discusses the ending of "The Last Exorcism." If you haven't seen the movie and plan to, read no further. Trust me, this isn't the sort of movie you want to have spoiled.

I just hate this. Alfonso Cuaron is a talented filmmaker and his son Jonas wrote a sci-fi script for a movie called "Gravity" which sounds pretty great. They were going to do it with Angelina Jolie and Robert Downey Jr in starring roles, with plans to shoot after Downey finished his work on the "Sherlock Holmes" sequel.

What's It Called: "127 Hours"

Yeah, today's Daily TwitPic doesn't exactly have anything to do with movies. But Snoop Dogg was in a movie. Quite a few of them even. So there you go.

When Darren Aronofsky's long-gestating "Robocop" remake hit the skids and the director went off to shoot "Black Swan" with Natalie Portman, the Interwebs seemed to decide the reason was 3-D snobbery: MGM wanted to shoot the sci-fi flick in three dimensions and Aronofsky said something to the effect of, "Oh hell no!"
